I am due to start my next round of ivf in the new year and as part of my protocol (following emma, alice and era test) I am to take metronidazole while on my period followed by canesflor vaginal probiotics.
The problem is this is now no longer being sold and a lot of the other recommendations have also been discontinued.
I am waiting to hear back fromo my clinic but in the meantime i was wondering what you ladies have been using instead if you had to use vaginal probiotics.

Hi lovely, Seed just came out with this one: seed.com/vaginal-synbiotic
All of their products are clinically validated and super high quality. I think it might only be available in the US right now so I'll dm you some other info xx
look at the Femme V capsules you pop up there, (ideally at nighttime) by Invivo - I would also take oral probiotics as vaginal health is a reflection often of gut health.
Thank you all so much! My notifications unfortunately were not switched on so i missed your helpful replies and messages but i will be taking a look at what you have suggested and hopefully pick one from there. Thanks again x
Hi hun, after my Emma test my clinic recommended Optibac for women. I’m also taking Psyllium Husk (from Zita West) which is a prebiotic which should help the good bacteria grow.
Thank you! Im already taking optibac but in my head i feel like i need one to insert vaginally too. My clinic are unhelpful and said any probiotic will work but i feel like if that was the case then igenomix wouldnt have a specific list to use.
Hi - if you're struggling with the other options there's another route as you can make your own reasonably simply: justfortummies.co.uk/probio... made from cocoa butter, coconut oil and a probiotic xx
