My husband and I will be doing our (4th) egg retrieval next week. Bit concerned that he has gone down with a stomach bug- could this affect his sperm quality?

Hope your husband feeling better and over his stomach bug Men make sperm in 3monthly cycles so his sperm should be unaffected
Good luck for the future

My partner got food poisoning from oysters he ate to improve sperm quality for IVF 😮 If your husband has a fever, that could affect quality of the sample, but if you are doing ICSI, the embryologist will select the 'good' ones anyway. Definitely see what your clinic advises. Good luck with your collection x
