11dp5dt still testing positive but worried about cramping.

Hi ladies,

Today is 11dpt and when testing this morning I got what looked like a good positive. I was convinced I was having a chemical (see previous post) as my lines didn't seem to be progressing much but this recent one is quite strong - what do you think? Could this be a chemical but still be a strong line? I'm also worried because I keep getting what feels like period cramps but only very mild. Please can you share your experiences of this. This is our 4th transfer after having one mmc and 2 failed. We've only got one frostie left after this one and won't be doing another cycle so I'm praying that this is a good outcome. X

Hi. Sorry, but we don’t permit photos of pads or wipes. I wonder if it might be a little early to test. The cramping could be due to pessary use,or an infection brewing. Make sure you drink plenty of water and keep an eye on your urine output. Lots of it and nice amd clear, if today wasn’t your due test day, then keep up with all ptrsctobed medication, including folic acid. Good luck. Diane

Test today looks good. Looks like lines are getting darker and not lighter which is a good sign. Would suggest HCG bloods if you're looking for more information - 48 hours apart, I think you said your clinic won't do them but some GPs may be willing and there is always Medichecks x

have another test in 48 hours or blood test,I had crams and spotting on girst 2 weeks and even I had full bleed on week 7 and on and off spotting untill i wean off meds

I know how stressful it is but doesn’t indicate anything unless is unbearable pain or continues blood clots

After those dreadful 3 months I had a perfect pregnancy

I’m 14 weeks pregnant and still get period like cramps. Your test looks good 😊

Looks good to me! Immediately after I had my positive test I had really bad period like cramps and had to take paracetamol. I then had cramping on/off for the first 3 weeks or so and a few times so bad I took paracetamol. I still occasionally get it at 11 weeks. I also had spotting on/off and got my hcg bloods tested due to this and the clinic offered me scans at 7, 8 and 9 weeks due to this. So I had hcg levels in week 6 then scans for the next 3 weeks. Having something weekly for reassurance helped get me through a tough and anxious few weeks (I'd had a previous miscarriage at 7 weeks and it had taken 6 cycles of OI and 2 cycles of IVF to get here).

this is a dye stealer! Excellent test and a good sign. Light period cramps is an early pregnancy sign so that’s good too.

I know it’s so hard not to worry with your history but for now this all looks good 😊

your tests strong, the cramps are very very normal lovely 💜🤗 these clear blue tests won’t tell you anything more now as they aren’t very good for line progression. I know you said you read bad reviews on the boots early detection ones but I swear by them (seriel tester here 🙋🏻‍♀️) but even those get to a point where they won’t get any darker. You are defo pregnant and there is no reason from any of your posts to think this is a chemical (I’ve had so many chemicals I’ve lost count) I know with you having had a mmc it’s impossible to not worry but try and have a day or 2 of celebration and excitement before testing anymore if you can ✨💜

I dont want to send you down my own well travelled crazy crazy road and this suggestion comes with a massive warning that these tests drive you crazier than the ones you are doing but the clear blue weeks indicators are the ones I start using at this point to see progression of the weeks as the line progression starts to mean nothing really as you move past the 14dpt point … they are quite unreliable but have predicted all my chemicals and miscarriages (and my little boy 💙) for me give the best indication of HCG levels without the blood tests (which if your clinic do I would defo pay for!) xx
