Don't even have any symptoms. Please share your experiences. Can stress affect pregnancy and baby?

In my experience, no. I had successes when incredibly stressed for various reasons and also extremely anxious about losing the pregnancies, vs early losses or BFN when much more relaxed or where I took tome off and went on holiday. It's not great for you but just think of the situations women get pregnant in and have successful pregnancies naturally (war, famine... through to less catastrophic but massively traumatic and stressful life events and circumstances). Maybe there are potential health effects due to high cortisol etc but worrying about that while I was pregnant was massively unhelpful and there was nothing I could realistically do to change my situation or to 'relax'. Anyway I've now had two extremely chilled out and healthy babies who incidentally sleep brilliantly and they were the ones that should in theory have been most impacted by my stress. It's hard for us to accept but almost all of this process is out of our control so let as much of the mental anguish and pressure go as you can - you can't worry a pregnancy away and what will be will be whether you're zen on a beach doing yoga or tearing your hair out on a tube and freaking out about how you will pay your mortgage that month. Re the blood: breathe, contact your clinic. Ask about progesterone. Is the blood bright red and a lot or just streaks and brown or spotting? Is it getting heavier? See if you can get repeat blood HCGs done - that should tell you one way or another. Ignore any 'pregnancy' symptoms or lack or of right now as it's too early and will be the meds. Cry as much as you need to - it's natural and expected after what you've just gone through - it will make you feel better.

I think this sounds positive. I blubbed and was super sensitive when I was 7dp5dt. I tested and got a very clear positive test. I also had strands of blood mixed with egg white type discharge. Sending lots of good thoughts your way 🙏😊

my test day was 13dp5dt. I got a BFP and extreme anxiety kicked in - I had been very stressed the day before as well. Then on the evening of test day I had spotting. I was convinced it was because of the heightened stress and I was hurting the embryo. I continued to have spotting on and off from test day until 10 weeks but I went for 3 scans and everything was fine. I’ve recently had my dating scan at 13 weeks and I was so worried because of all the spotting I had but everything was fine. Just adding my experience as I remember googling like mad when I saw blood and I wanted to see other people experienced it as well but it was fine x

hi, it’s very unlikely stress affects early pregnancy. I caught norovirus at 7dp5dt and the embryo became a now 36 week pregnancy, so I don’t think there is much you can go to affect outcome. The streaks of bloods could still be implantation bleeding, I had the same and the pregnancy continued fine. Good luck, give yourself a break and try and relax xx
