hi all

Has anyone used nafarelin spray as their trigger?! Just had my latest treatment protocol through and noticed didn’t have buserolin, rang the clinic and they said I’m using a nasal spray as my trigger this time round. Has anyone else used this as a trigger??

It works in the same way as buserelin Might be an idea to call the clinic and ask the nurse to explain your treatment protocol to you again - step by step so you understand the timings etc

I was on Nafarelin, I think there is a shortage of Buserelin at the moment which is why I was put on Nafarelin. I think it does the same job.

Thank you 😊 I know you just have to trust the clinic, just found it odd last 2 I’ve been on buserelin and now this!

yeah my doctor hadn't ever used it before which made me a bit nervous! My clinic didn't even have it on the list of drugs they use as it's normally Buserelin. But there was none in stock anywhere so we had to make the switch. I think it is fairly common elsewhere and it does the job!
