Hope you all are fine. just would like to check if anyone is doing their treatment at homerton and been affected due to the current issue happening.
I am bit confused at the moment about my next steps. Just would like to check if you have any suggestion what you are doing with this unexpected situation.
Thanks.

Yes I have. Unfortunately I won't be able to start my next IVF cycle until towards the middle of end of May which is disappointing. As I was hoping to have my next round before I turn 40 which is this coming May. I had a follow up appointment at the beginning of March, just have to wait for the go ahead to begin injections again.
I am planning to transfer to a private clinic, but now Homerton is saying they are unable to transfer my embryo (as their transport process is on hold) to my new clinic. Seriously, This period is so frustrating😐
I’m trying to get my embryos out too. The communication there is awful and they have been so rude on the phone. I just want my embryos out so I don’t have to communicate with them anymore. They are making everything so much harder and upsetting than it needs to be if it was just being managed properly.
I can understand your frustration. I haven't had the best experience with them. I'm waiting to undergo a second round of IVF with them which I hope will yield better results. My plan B would be to try IVF abroad if anything.
I started my treatment with a private Clinic and i am on my 2ww.
It was taking long for my embryo to get transferred to my new clinic, as they were bringing up with new reason each and every time. Anyway I finally got it transferred.
Before Transferring, the doctor gave me a call to check if i want to stay with NHS, as they are planning to move me to different NHS hospital. I said No this time as i was not sure how long they will be taking.
I had an appointment back in March to begin my second round of IVF treatment. Haven't heard from them since as they were meant to get back in touch with me this month. From what I saw online recently, is that their fertility centre has been suspended until August.
I’m just in process now of getting my embryo out and transferred to Bart’s. They are paying for it as I complained - they wanted me to pay £170 to move it! I was like… seriously?!
Anyway - hopefully Bart’s will be better.
I don’t think Homerton will be back to normal until 2025. Just too long a wait for so many people x
