2nd failed FET

Feeling fed up! Had our second failed FET today, does anyone have any similar experiences and positive stories please 🥺❤️

so sorry to hear this, I know you must be hurting so much and it’s a difficult time to go through this too. It was third time lucky for me and I know for some people fourth time lucky etc even with everything perfect it is a numbers game. Stay hopeful, everything you’ve done is getting you one step closer xxx

Im sorry my dear as I know how you feel now and no one deserves to have 2 heart breaking news in row, I have been in your place this month.

I had my failed 2nd FET 10 days ago, I had no left frozen embryo's. I allowed my self to grief on the first day, Second day I dedicated my negative emotions into creating a folder of my case with a time line of what I've been thru plus gathering supporting tests documents on one deck. On 3rd Day I planned what to do next and part of the plan was to find a new clinic and Professor/ Doctor who had a very rich background on IVF.

From the first visit, I learned that my eggs are too fragile and I was over stimulated in the other clinic which doomed both of the transfers. Im preparing my self for a third IVF round, Im very optimistic and have faith in GOD that he will reward us when the time is right. 🥰💗

Sorry to hear your story Flare. Do you mind me asking about the eggs being over stimulated. I know I was severely over stimulated but my embryos were PGA tested and came out with 4 good graded ones even though I’ve just had a failed cycle - could the embryo still be damaged from over stimulation and be a good grade pgs tested? x

Certainly, first round I had 5 fertilized embryo's and one made it to day 5 (4AB). Second Round 12 Fertilized embryos and one made it to day 5 (4AA). Both included ICSI process.

is it really possible I am still confused. If egg is fragile then how embryos can be good grades. There is something which we really don’t know

I have a low ovarian reserve which makes my eggs fragile and over stimulation defects the egg quality 😊

But how is it possible because when they overstimulate then you get ohss. I am confused. And hue they check your egg they are fragile with out retrieves them.

hi positivesmile. I hate it when I hear it but my consultant always says it’s a numbers game even when everything is perfect. Praying you are 3rd time lucky xx

I’m sick of hearing “it’s a numbers game” too 😰 5 failed transfers (6embryos as one double).

Sorry to hear this. Have had 2 failed attempts in the UK. For the 3rd try, we flew to Cyprus and we got our baby girl on that try. I was tired and hurting just like you. But something in me wanted to keep trying too. It can happen to you too. Don't lose hope. Sending you love and light. xx
