So… wonderful news, I am pregnant ! ✨💕

Still have a blood test to do on Thursday and the viability scan - but a good friend said it’s a strong first pregnancy test with the naff ones the IVF clinics give you! So🙏🙏🙏

All feels very surreal… and I feel extra tired as have a bloomin cold! But feeling very grateful for IVF and immune treatment right now.

Thanks for everyone’s support as always. Xx

I had my successful transfer at 46 and am currently 24 weeks. You have time 🥰

🤩 Amazing! Congratulations! Super good to hear. I'm also 44, so any tips would be good. Did you use your own eggs (and if so, when were they collected?) or did you use donor?

Hey there, I think we’ve spoken in the past when I was trying for no 1. 🙏🙏 everything goes smoothly but it’s a good start!

I did an embryo banking cycle when I was 42 so this was a Frostie from that round. So technically my daughters little brother/sister is actually older!

I did the same FET protocol as I did on my first FET - mild stimulation with Gonal F. And I’m on the same concuction of drugs as I was with my daughter - hydroxychloroquine 6 weeks prior, baby aspirin 4 weeks prior, Intralipid a week before, Lubion injections every other day and, Crinone daily, plus Fragmin injections a week before FET.

As well we pre natal vits, vit D and Omega 3 (plus iron every other day as I’m veggie) I’ve also been eating 2 Brazil nuts daily and having a beetroot shot daily /every other day since transfer. I rested (with a tiny bit of walking) for the first few days after transfer, did yoga on the 4th day, and did LOTS of walking towards the end of the 2ww… God knows what / if any of that helped but thought I’d mention! (I also brought baby a welcome to the world outfit and a teddy as I did this last time!!)

Oh and I had a womb massage two weeks before transfer and reflexology in my 2ww. Xx

Congratulations !! I have RAarthrtis and recurrent implantation failure but have never been given intralipids. Could you please tell me more about the intralipid therapy ? How many ml? every day .., ? Did you Also continue with it after transfer ?

Many thanks 😊

Hi there,

I'm not sure of the dosage but I had one 7 days before transfer and then I have them at 4, 8, 10 and 12 weeks. xx

hi, I’m new here. Firstly congratulations! Wishing you all the best. It’s so great to hear the success stories. Also, you had reflexology in the 2ww, was it a general one or a one focusing on your uterus?x

Fertilityjourney profile image
Fertilityjourney in reply toHTasmin

Thank you. I see a lovely lady who specialises in fertility reflexology so it would focus on that - but also other areas to try and ground me/ relax me. She also did my sinuses as they are blocked up! Xx

Congratulations!! Now start pumping in the progesterone. Get the clinic to check yours and if low use progesterone in oil. Crucial at this stage 😘

Fertilityjourney in reply toJrss1

Thank you. I had my progesterone checked two days before transfer and doc was happy with it but I’m still taking 50mg Lubion every other day and Crinone daily. 🙏 xx

Aww congrats!! This is amazing news 🥰

I remember had the worst cold when I finally got pregnant! It came on the day after my transfer and was horrific… In fact the one natural chemical I had I also had a sore throat for a couple of days. I swear sometimes it’s a symptom of pregnancy.

Awww and it does look like a strong line! enjoy this moment! It’s so precious . Xxx

Congratulations! I was 39 when I had my first and I'm pregnant with baby number 2 at 41.

My first pregnancy was after 8 years of infertility.

Some of my friends of the same age are still having babies so I think it's more common now. My cousin was 44 when she had her 2nd.

Hope the scan comes around quickly for you, as I know what that wait is like!

Happy and healthy 9 months to you! X
