6 week scan today—heartbeat detected!

I'm so surprised, I was so sure that things were not going well. I really thought this was another miscarriage already. I know that I am far, far from out of the woods yet, but for now there is a little blob with a heartbeat that I saw today at the scan.

When I was pregnant my goal was usually 24 weeks, as I was told a baby could be born then and survive (I don't know if actually you can stop worrying then, but it helped me to believe that).

Thank you! My usual dr is out of town so I saw one of his colleagues. No word from the main dr yet, I'm sure he's being cautious too.

This is amazing, congratulations 💕 I completely understand why this is a paralysing time. Keep going in whatever way you can, my way was weekly scans ❤️ I found I just couldn't cope with not knowing as I would immediately talk myself into the fact it was all about to end.
