FET with Immature Blastocysts?

Hello everyone! Has anyone had a successful FET with immature blastocysts? Our embryologist called on Sunday (Day 6) to let us know that they would be freezing two, but that they were immature, sadly in both the happiness/confusion I did not even ask what this will mean for our first cycle.

In any case, before implantation I have to have a polyp removed, but feeling a bit anxious and don't want to fall down the google DR rabbit hole, please help.

Hope you recover well from your surgery Maybe you should call your clinic and ask to speak to the embryologist about your concerns He should be able to explain the situation to you

I am not sure what they mean by immature but they would only freeze blastocysts if they were viable. My little boy was the result of a FET with a 6 day blastocyst. I would speak to the embryologist and ask what they mean by immature.
