Anyone doing transfer this week?

Hi! My 5th transfer is tomorrow, I was wondering if anyone else is having a transfer this week and how are you doing? are you excited? are you worried? I know the transfer is tomorrow but I'm already dreading the OTD as this is the last em baby and then I'd have to do another egg collection (that would be my 4th) 🥺

I'm having my 4th transfer (but first fet) on Tuesday. Absolutely terrified it won't defrost 😬. I only have 1 left too.

Yes there is a small chance it won't defrost but 🤞everything goes smoothly for both of us. Is yours a frozen transfer too.

Hi! yes, it was a frozen transfer. The embryologist came in to show us the photos of the blastocyst and that everything looked fine, but I forgot to ask about your concern about the defrosting!

Glad it went well for you. I felt my clinic kept telling me at every possible opportunity that it might not defrost they've freaked me out. I know they have to tell you these things but not to the point it causes distress!

so true!! and there are so many things that can go wrong. During my last transfer as they finished the procedure and the tool went back to the embryologist to check if the embaby was definitely gone - I was thinking to myself, is it possible that she lost it somehow and they actually transferred nothing? 🙈 should stop thinking too much . How did your tranfser go?

All good thank you, embryo thawed perfectly and has been transferred. I'm so relieved!

In terms of testing, if I transferred yesterday (Sunday), is it day 1 or day 2 post 5dt today? I should know this, but have forgotten!

So I'm hoping this works. It's my 3rd transfer..

ah the timing! it's probably also a bit of stress that contributed towards the congestion. When I'm stressed I tend to catch everything at once.. Did the transfer go well?

It went well. My cervix was so hard to find because of my height I'm 6ft 3 so my cervix was long and way inside. 😪 I almost peed on the stretcher because of the force applied. I'm keeping my hopes alive and praying it works this time
