Hi cheeky, I know this is a hard time and I can tell you're scared from your posts x

I've had chemicals and miscarriages and I'm currently at 6+4 and I get that every day there's something to scare me or throw me off 💕

Your test looks good, it's stealing the dye. I think now you're at that point, the tests aren't useful - because of your anxiety it may be worth booking in for an early scan at the EPU at 5+5 or so to see if they can see the yolk and sac and give you some reassurance? But if not and you have had no bleeding, your results look good xx

Try and distract yourself with some telly maybe? I know how hard these weeks are xx but there's also nothing you can do to change the outcome whatever it may be. You're pregnant today and that's amazing 💕💕💕💕

Hi, Is the dark line the test or control line? x

I had presumed she was holding it right side up which would mean the control line is on the right...but that was an assumption. Although if it's the other way I agree with the comments re book effect

This may be a silly question but which way up are you holding the test in that photo - as in, which is the control line, the left or the right one? It looks like the control line is the one on the right and if that's the case the fact that it's lighter than the test line is actually a really good as it's a 'dye stealer' (Google the 'hook effect'). If you're 5 weeks then that would make sense. I had two early losses and I understand the anxiety however the only reliable things I found were HCG blood tests to check doubling and/or scans.
