I should've been heading off to the clinic for the transfer of our last frozen embryo today but guess what, I tested positive for bloody covid Wednesday night 😭🤬 Not a huge shock as I've not had it before and I've been working abroad a lot lately, so guessed I'd catch it sooner or later. But honestly... the timing couldnt be worse.

I'm so sick of all the delays! I just want to get on and transfer this last embryo and have this cycle done with, one way or another!! 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ No point here except a small rant 😂 x

The exact same thing happened to me! I was due to have a transfer on Thursday and I wasn't feeling well so I thought let me test and it was positive. I understand how you feel, it's just shit and it's my first time too.

Sorry for this AuroraXen! Hope you’ll recover fast. My husband and I caught Covid during treatment and I was out of isolation literally 2 days before transfer. I still had symptoms but my antigen test was already negative. Best of luck to your next date for transfer. Hope there won’t be anymore delays. X

How long is it that women are meant to wait to resume treatment after having covid? I know for men it’s 3 months xx

Hiya. Hmm I'm not sure. If it was a fresh cycle maybe it'd be longer but as its a FET and the embryo is already there and waiting, my clinic said I could go ahead on my next period xx

Thanks Skittles! The lab is going to be closed on thr crucial week this cycle so we'll have to wait for yet another month, argh. The delays panic me so much 😫 but it is what it is x
