How early have people tested on a 2dt? 🙄

Ok. So im starting to crack 😫😫.

In my previous rounds I’ve been a MASSIVELY (like, stupidly never gonna get a positive early) tester. Every time it has made the TWW worse as I’ve known all along it’s failed , as opposed to enjoying ignorance is bliss .

I promised - especially given im only a 2dt- I wouldn’t test early. OTD isn’t until next Wednesday 23. 😫. Im 5dp2dt today - which I know is nothing . But , since when does logic matter to a crazy, hormonal IVF woman hey?

I wondered how early others had tested? And if any two dayers tested early and got a positive , how soon you saw it show ?

Hey. I know you already know this but testing early is never a good idea, either way it will make you question things. If it was positive you'd want to keep checking and if it was negative you'd also want to keep checking. Can't win! The best thing for mind and body is to wait as hard as that is. I guess that doesn't really answer the question, if you forced my hand I'd say 11dp2dt at absolute earliest xx

I so know you’re right 😫😫. My logical head absolutely agrees with you too….. but 11 days is soooooooo far away 😂.

I woke up with a huge sense it has failed . And that seems to have spurred the urge to test. I’ve been ok until today and now I feel like a crazy person!

How are things your end ? X

I wouldn't test any earlier than the day you would expect your period to start/14 days after ovulation unless you have some serious pregnancy symptoms you can't blame on the progesterone or other meds. The best is of course to wait until OTD, but I know it's hard to wait.

If you had a fresh cycle testing too early COULD give a false positive because if the trigger injection.

Now, I did test early myself this time, but I wouldn't if I hadn't had bleedings alongside pregnancy symptoms I couldn't blame on the progesterone, so I tested one day before expected period (which never came) to know if I was interpreting well my symptoms or I was turning completely nuts 😆 But I wouldn't recommend it 😉

Thank you . And I know you’re right . I punished myself on the last two rounds knowing so early on it was negative . Then, every day I tested it just just worse and worse . Being a 2dt as well, the wait seems like eternity. On day 5 now and it’s only now a blasto (🤞🏼) so still ages until implanatation would even happen so don’t know know I would test yet 😫😫😫😫

Congrats on your BFP 🥰🥰🥰

An early negative could still turn positive later on. Worse with the early faint lines which disappear towards the OTD 🙈

I know you’re right. I don’t even have any symptoms yet. Had the cramps post transfer - but I know from past experience that’s the progesterone adjustment . They have settled now though. All I can really say at the moment is I am bloody ravenous and spotty! X
