Well folks, my egg collection is all done and I got 10 eggs. 9 were mature and 7 fertilised! Certainly an improvement on my last round where I got 13 and only 2 even fertilitised!
I'm on day three now and one embryo has dropped out. 2 are showing signs of fragmentation and 4 are going strong.
I've been pretty chilled up till now but the worry is setting in as I know there will be more drop out between days 3-5.
I was just really hoping to get to blast and praying I'd have some to freeze as well as doing another fresh round just fills me with dread!
Any positive stories out there for me for my 4 little fighters? Any chance the 2 with fragmentation might pull through?

It’s such a nerving time isn’t it we was worried after 14 mature but only five fertilised I was so worried after loosing so many early but we still had 1 to transfer and 2 to freeze so there is definitely a chance for your little fighting embies best of luck to you sending positive thoughts and hugs 🙏💕🍀
Well I had 9 fertilised and from that 5 developed but 2 dropped out before day 5 and 3 made it through well to day 5. From those three all were frozen and my best one failed but my second was successful and there’s now the third one still frozen. To be honest I was so naive in the process I didn’t know what was good and what wasn’t but I thought 3 gave me a great chance. And they did! Good luck!
Thank you so much. I think that's my problem, I'm all too aware how things can change and fail so every stage is nerve wracking. You're story gives me hope. I'm in two minds whether to ring the clinic for an update today as anything other than 4 is gonna worry me more in terms of making it to tomorrow x
Yeah I think I relied on their 3 is great positive attitude to guide me as to well this must be a positive outcome. If your 4 can make it that’s a great number!
