Hi All, I have been struggling with thin endometrium for almost 2 years now ( i have 6 excellent quality embryos from the first IVF cycle) , tried all the conventional methods of hormonal therapies - i have taken boxes of progynova but it doesnt seem to help. My doc has not suggested to try PRP therapy to rejuvenate the endometrium - this is still experimental and i am quite worried so was hoping to get feedback if anyone tried this and had any feedback - positive or negative.

Hi there, yes I have tried it quite a few times and I believe it helped to thicken it some over time. I have Ashermans syndrome and it’s often used it to help heal and thicken lining after surgery. My lining was around 5-5.5mm at ovulation and then got to close to 7 with PRP & progynova. That said, I didn’t have success with IVF and ended up falling pregnant naturally with no drugs or PRP which was quite miraculous - go figure. There are studies out there now particularly for women with ashermans that lining thickness isn’t everything, it’s more that it’s trilaminar and healthy than how thick it is. Traditional IVF they always want it to be over 8 but that’s just not feasible for some women. Not sure what is causing your thin lining but I’d be tempted to try a natural FET cycle with your own hormones to thicken lining perhaps?

Hi! I did PRP for my successful FET. It did not thicken my lining that remained bellow 5 mm but doctor said that it was about quality. I can not say with certainty that this is what made the difference but it was my first ever BFP. I also did acupuncture once a week and TENS on acupuncture points every day. Good luck!
