Scan today post Covid

Today I have a scan for 9 weeks + 5 days. But 10 days ago I got Covid and have been pretty ill. But I’m in the clear now and feeling better, and so thankful I’ve got the scan booked in to check everything is ok. I’m such an anxious wreck. While all the experts say Covid doesn’t cause miscarriages early in a pregnancy I still can’t help but worry. Cross everything for me. We are so close to being past that 10 week mark where they say the risks of miscarriage drop considerably.

All went well with the scan. Little one is growing nicely and was even dancing and moving when we were looking at them. So relieved. Our miracle baby is perfect ❤️

Good you got through it unharmed. No covid doesn't cause miscarriages but it does cause death, including in pregnant women. Here is the USA where almost 2,000 people die of covid per day, it's heartbreaking reading the stories on pregnant women being part of this sad statistic.
