Stims and TSH

Been ttc for 3 years now. Found out I had underactive thyroid about 18 months ago and was put on levo - TSH was 8.7. It came down but I was never told what to and didn't think to ask. I then had a mc last October and was told my TSH was 8 again and this might have contributed. We then began to prepare for ivf and I had my levo doubled, tested in Jan and TSH was finally 2 so all good. Ihad my first cycle last month, 1 egg, 1 5 day blast transferred but unfortunately bfn. I had my normal thyroid bloods done by the GP about 2 weeks after transfer and its just come back at 5 again. Does anyone know if the stims can cause this? If so do I need to get it down to even less before I start? Im desperate to go again but I don't want to waste any viable embryos because of this.

Would appreciate any thoughts.

Hi I had a thyroidectomy and I am totally dependent on thyroxine replacement. My TSH rose after my IVF cycles. There is a link between the high oestrogen causing a rise in the TSH but I don’t think all the clinics monitor the TsH closely enough. I have taken the monitoring of my thyroid into my own hands… so test with GP before cycle and after. Best of luck x

Thanks. I've had my levo increased and now doing monthly testing.
