Just wondering if anyone has had a successful pregnancy through IVF despite their partner having high DNA fragmentation?
Thanks xx

Yes I did, my partners was 51% damaged which was terrible and we managed to reduce it down to 30% - still classed as bad but it worked and we now have a 6 month old. Good luck xx
Yes my OH showed huge improvements after a supplement and diet plan, we are now 10 weeks pregnant after conceiving naturally having previously been told we had less than 10% chance! You can see our full story in my bio xx
Hi Laura, thanks for sharing it would be really useful to know what supplements were suggested for your OH that worked, thank you! X ps congratulations on your pregnancy that’s amazing!
Hi Anna, my husband had about 37% damaged and we changed clinic and did imsi after finding that out. We also found out I had immune issues and I had treatment for that so it might have been a bit of both but we had our little boy from that round. Dna was completely ignored by our first clinic - I don’t know why other than lack of resources maybe xx
Thank you that’s really helpful to know. I’ve not been tested for immune issues but perhaps that’s something to consider as well
Did you try icsi first? We’ve had 4 good quality blasts but zero luck implantation
X
Yes we had icsi first. My first round was cancelled as I had OHSS but we managed to freeze 5 blasts. We got through four of those over FETS and nothing. Then one more fresh round there and had a chemical. We left one remaining embryo frozen at the clinic and its still there. Changed clinic and did a fresh round and we had a little boy, and i'm now 9 weeks pregnant from a FET with the only other embryo from that successful cycle. This clinic are much tighter on progesterone and thyroid levels so I have extra meds for those too. It might be worth seeing what your clinic allows as I do wonder if the progesterone has something to do with it all too. Do message me if you want any more details. Lots of luck with your next steps xx
We didn't do testing but my partner's sperm quality (morphology etc) was really bad. Our clinic recommended we use MACS. It's a magnetic procedure that helps pick out the best sperm. It might be worth looking into.It worked for us. We recently had twins.
