Anyone half way through FIRST Trimester? Week 8 +

Hi Ladies

So baby scan is measuring me 2 days ahead and HR is 180bpm. I find my symptoms wane from really bad one day to the next feeling almost normal and boobs less tender. I was so nauseated yesterday and dry heaving and like today i can go in the fresh air and feel ok and not that sick and constantly prodding my boobs! lol

anyone else still symptom spot even at 8 weeks + .... Counting down to 12 week scan still seems such a long time away

Anyone else a similar gestation.. how are you all feeling? symptoms change day to day?

Hi ya.. Congrats to you too!!Am just a little over 9weeks now and that's one of the things that worry me - that my symptoms just disappear for few days n then boom hit from outta no where! The horrible sickness feeling seems to last full 2days.and I have been physically sick on 2 occasions . then am full of energy again! It's so weird. The only constant seems to be the need to pee at stupid o'clock that has me out of bed at crazy hours!

I did have a scare at 6wks with bleeding and scan showed blood clot next to baby but early pregnancy team monitored me really closely and sign off that all was OK last week (clot has reduced in size) . So am just waiting on 12week scan now too. They never actually confirmed the rate of heart beat —I was just so happy to hear it was there! And last week doctor commented that baby was moving around crazy!

For me baby is messauring 2days behind but that's been consistent with all 4 scans I have had so far so am happy to know he/she is growing away. will be interesting to see if they confirm same due date as ivf clinic (10th Nov)

Hi Annie, Congratulations to you also! i am comforted to read that i am not the only one where symptoms seem to ride a wave like the sea coming in and the sea going back out! I read at our stage from 8-9 weeks + that HCG can begin to level off and so maybe our bodies are becoming accustomed to the symptoms that bit more! Maybe! Me too i am peeing at stupid o'clock too - now some nights its twice a night but thats probably too many fluids at night! Its frustrating when your tired and you don't want the interruption isn't it!

Me too - also had a bleed between 6-7 weeks and i have a blood clot by sac, my bleeding was pretty clotty and heavy for a good 10 days but more recently its settled and i just wipe the odd browny colour now occasionally this week. Yeah i think its quite common for them not to give the heart rate, its enough that its simply there, i am fairly pushy so asked for it though they wouldn't allow to hear it as they say can stress the baby in the early weeks.

I am due 18 November so not too far behind you Wishing you a healthy and happy 7 ish months left. xx

According to my calculations i am 8weeks 1 day. I am sick everyday all day. I feel tired everyday and nauseated as well. I cry everyday and ask my husband why i thought putting in two embryos was a good idea( did not work first time so put two to increase my second round) Now i am pregnant with twins and my body is a roller coaster. I was pregnant 12 years ago and i never had no sickness whatsoever so i thought this pregnancy was going to be the same. Boy was I wrong.

Dont get me wrong i am happy it work but these kids are not making me be great. Starting yesterday i am starting to get really hungry like every hour and i only can eat small amounts before i start to feel sick. I am already wanting this 9 or 8 months like yesterday to give birth. I am due Nov 18.

Same due date as me! aw bless you , you are really going through it but look on the bright side you will have 2 beautiful children at the end of the day you are probably feeling particularly nauseas because the hcg will be particularly high carrying 2 babies. But as you say will be worth it in the end. You are half way through 1st trimester. And I read it usually settles by 14 weeks. 🙏🏻 When I had my son in 2019 ( also ivf FET) I was pretty sick for 3 weeks straight but then as soon as I hit 9 weeks my nausea went over night like a light switch I was terrified and went for a scan all was fine. He’s now a lively never STILL 20 month old !! xx
