I can definitely see it 🙌🏽 Congratulations!! What a journey you have had lovely. I think this is it 💋 I had mine last Friday too not meant to test until Tuesday so I’m trying to hold off it’s so hard !! X
I won't be able to test before OTD this time as I'm taking Pregnyl which can stay in the system for up to a week? 😔 Shame, as I like to prepare myself mentally for the phone call.
Congratulations! That's definitely a positive. I got a positive today too. Managed to hold out to OTD 13d after 5dt with own egg. Also been trying for about 4 years and had thyroid cancer to deal with in that time too. Us thyroid cancer warriors made it.
Call your endocrinologist and tell them before your GP, they will set up an appointment with you before 8 weeks. Don't let your GP to do any tweaks to your meds without going through your endo first. I assume you no longer have a thyroid gland. We aren't the same as treating women who are hypo and pregnant so the generic doses the GP does isn't always appropriate. Best to get advice through your endo. This is the advice I got from my endocrinologist and thyroid surgeon after a miscarriage last year. Sending you lots of postivity healthy pregnancy vibes x
Yes, I have no thyroid gland at all. The advice he previously gave was to increase dose by 0.25mcg’s per trimester. I’m waiting until officially OTD (tomorrow) then will contact him on Monday 🤞🏽
I’ve ordered a private blood test in the meantime so I can keep on top of the numbers as my current GP is a medication a hole!
That's good. We do have to be proactive. I had a blood test just the week I started IVF this time so still pretty fresh. I'm fortunate to have a good GP but know that is rare. We are all different, my thyroid cancer is still fairly recent (last 18 months) but I know my endo wants to monitor me closely. Hes made it clear that any increment changes to my dose go through him first. We really have to keep on it though to keep them on their toes. All the very best to you.
