Is a 6 day blastocyst calculated the same due date as a 5 day blastocyst? The ivf calculators don't offer a 6 day blastocyst option...

The title says it all...just trying to figure out due date as I won't be allowed to go beyond it being 41 years. The ivf calculator only lets you calculate transfer date (21 Feb) then either 3 or 5 day blastocyst but mine is a Day 6...

Day 5 on calculator says 10th November.

Since it would only be one day difference, it should not matter. You won't be arrested, it's just a guideline. Your doctor will give you a due date later on anyway.

It doesn’t matter. They’ll change your due date later on anyways. With my first pregnancy they brought it forward and I kept telling them that wasn’t possible as we know when the eggs were retrieved but they insisted.

Yeah it was so weird! Baby was small and I kept saying: tiny bit less small if you go by the proper dates!

Yeah they didn’t change my due date either because it was IVF. Think it depends on the hospital! Some go by measurements, some stick to the IVF dates x

My hospital changed my due date regardless of IVF. Funny enough baby is measuring just right for

When my original period should have been just the IVF medication made it longer etc.

My due date change from the early scan to the 12 week scan and even though we know the exact date the eggs were fertilised they still tend to follow the same rule as non IVF and work it out from the first day of your last period so in very quick succession I went from being three weeks pregnant to about 5 weeks which I found strange but its the 12 week scan that they tend to make the final decision so don't worry about it too much at the moment, I am now 15 weeks and my consultant has also told me they wont let me go passed my due date
