My IVF Journey πŸ’œ

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to give you all a bit of hope.

My husband and I started our IVF journey a few years ago.

Our first and only free cycle failed, so we went to an exhibition and spoke to a clinic in Norway. From the moment we had our conversation with them we knew they were the clinic we wanted to use to have a family.

After a Skype consultation with the Dr we booked our flights and headed to Norway. As soon as we got there, everyone was so friendly and happy to help with any questions/requests we had. We got pregnant on our first cycle but unfortunately suffered a miscarriage at 8 weeks. We then tried our frozen cycle which didn't work.

In October we decided to fly back out and try again. November we did a pregnancy test, just so happened that our test day would of been my due date if I hadn't had a miscarriage. The test was positive. At 8 weeks I had a little bleed so booked in for an early scan. This was when we found out that we were pregnant with non identical twins. My gorgeous little girls were born at 37 weeks and 4 days.

I just wanted to give you all some hope and that sometimes there is a happy ending.

IVF is one of the hardest things a couple could go through. Just be open and honest with your feelings with your partner.

I wish you all the best in your journeys.

What's meant to be will find its way. πŸ’œ

So at the beginning of our IVF journey we were told we would never to be able to concieve naturally.

Fast forward to March 2020 the start of lockdown. I was feeling really sick and queasy, my sister told me to do a pregnancy test just to be sure, i thought it was my anxiety with everything that was going on. To our surprise it was positive!

We welcomed our 3rd little girl into the world on 4th January 2021. We still can't believe it.

Wishing you all the best with your journeys Xxx

Which clinic in norway did you get treated? We live in norway and have failed 2 ivf cycles now. The only hope is a miracle pregnancy
