Day 11 stims update

Previous scan on Monday I had 7-8 below average follicles. Today (Wed) Only 5 follicles but are a better size. It’s not ideal but egg collection will still go ahead. Potentially next Monday or Wednesday, depending how my scan goes on Friday .

Another twist is that they found some cysts or something in my muscle of the uterus. This can apparently happen when on stimming injections. So they are thinking if I do manage to get any good eggs that it’s better I freeze and wait a couple of months for transfer . Gives my body time to heal. Again not what I was expecting.

Lining was good apparently !!

It’s out of my control but I just have to go with it. Just the constant living in limbo and anxiety 🙈 one day at a time , praying I get some eggs to transfer either fresh or frozen 🤞

Scan again in 2 days.

Hey that’s good that the size of your follicles have increased. I understand how you are feeling. It’s all the waiting and not knowing that has been most stressful. Have you tried listening to meditation music? Not sure if you have Spotify? Jackie Brown ivf meditation helped me with my anxiety.. you can also find her on you tube. She does one called before egg collection.. I’ve found it really calming and soothing.. lying on my bed in the dark and having half an hour to myself.
