I’m due to start Clomid tomorrow from day 2-6, does anyone have any advice?
I’m a little worried about doing so, I have PCOS but also suffer with larger cysts on my ovaries, some as big as 8cm which leave me in agony and my gynaecologist doesn’t want to look into why which is frustrating. I’ve been prescribed Clomid but read it can cause more cysts so a little worried 😕 due to covid I can’t be monitored like I usually would be. After years of back and forward appointments I don’t want to wait any longer. So hoping this works for us, I can’t go on the ivf waiting list until I’ve tried this.
Any help, advice or just info about what to expect from anyone who’s taken it would be amazing.
Thanks in advance ❤️

Hi RGEB. I can fully understand your anxieties. Ho I would speak with your clinic and explain your anxieties, just in case they might order a scan or blood test to check your process. Clomid is often prescribed as a first line of treatment for women with PCOS, so hopefully it will do the trick for you. Good luck! Diane
Hi DianeThanks for replying here too I really appreciate your help!
I have done this but they said due to the current situation they can’t offer scans, I will give it another go though(they’re going to hate me 🙈) because when I was prescribed clomid my gynaecologist said I am high risk for another cyst and I should have a scan.
