It appears I must post a new question to find relevant cases lol ok. So I’m measuring a week behind. Should be around 6.5 weeks but I’m like looking like 5.5weeks. There is a strong fetal pole and tiny embryo, no heart beat at this first ultrasound and I’m to go back next Monday. My doc said 50/50 shot, “hopeful but concerned” any experience welcome.

Measuring a week behind...
I'm guessing it was an ivf baby?? Baby could haven implanted late. Mine was a natural pregnancy so when I went for scan at 7 weeks 4 days, it measured 6 weeks 4 days. Doctor wasn't concerned because I knew exactly when I ovulate and when I had implantation bleeding. Heartbeats can usually be picked up sometimes as late as 7 weeks, so even though it seems worrying, it could just be that your little one was late settling in 🤞
I had a 5 day blastocyst transferred on 11/13 so I should be 7 weeks 2 days but my peanut measured 6 weeks 4 days today. It had a strong heartbeat so my doctor didn’t seem concerned. He just said continue my meds and come back next week for another scan to check the progress. I think as long as everything progresses, the measurements are probably off because of late implantation. I know it’s hard not to stress, but do your best not to worry too much.
Good luck. Hopefully nothing to be concerned about 💖xx
I think I already posted about it on your last one but one of my twins was given a less than 50% chance due to slow growth. His brother already had a pole and he didn't. Today he's 13 yo and 3 inches taller than his twin. Try not to stress too much. I hope everything works out.
Hi I went for my viability scan yesterday At 6wks 4 days. They couldn’t get my measurements because it was too small so got to go back next week too. They saw a flickering heart beat but couldn’t get a measurement of the beats. Wishing you lots of luck for your next scan next week xx
Hi hun could be just a little late implanting. Was it IVF?Its good they can see the fetal pole as its implanted normally. 6.5 weeks to 7 weeks is about the time they should see a heartbeat 90% of the time but its not an absolute ( using transvaginal scanning is best) My scan at 7 weeks ( was an iui cycle) before i had my son later using ivf, was measuring a week behind too and was told to come back a week later as there was also no HB also. Best wishes for Monday i'm keeping everything crossed xx
