6wk6day viability scan advice/ positive stories

We went for our viability scan today and the doctor was concerned that the embryo and sac are both measuring small, along with a slow heartbeat. We’re going back for another scan next week, but obviously can’t help but fear the worst. Has anyone had a similar experience with a positive outcome?

My aunt 6 week scan was a very low Heartbeat at 110. When she went back 2 weeks later it was 168. Continue to pray

Hi natmitch, I was the same as you. I went for a 7 week scan, but the embryo was measuring 5 weeks. I also heard the heartbeat and this gave me hope. Try not to worry too much, they can grow quickly 🙂. I'm currently 14w3d and baby is measuring absolutely fine. I also want to mention, the Dr gave me progesterone to take for a month after that first scan.
