Hi there - clearblue digital with weeks have always predicted when something wasn’t right for me
BUT I have heard that once hcg gets really high it can throw the tests off - so maybe try diluting your wee with a bit of water and see if that’s makes a difference?
Hi how far along should you be? I have read clear blue weeks indicator can be unreliable for some so take them with a pinch of salt, but for me earlier this year it was a sign something wasn’t right (but I also had bleeding) could your clinic do an HCG test to see if your levels are doubling every 48 hours? Xx
Pessaries haven't ever stopped me bleeding but I know everyone is different, I think my clinic only did the bloods because of the bleeding. If your tests are still positive and especially with no bleeding take that as a good sign- how far along are you and was it a 5 or 3 day embryo that was transferred? Clear blue saying 1-2 weeks means 4 weeks in real life xx
So you are over 5 weeks pregnant then. Clear blue should be at least saying 2-3 weeks by now but I’ve read a million stories where they aren’t accurate! I know they have people worrying and some clinics hate them because of that. Are the lines on your first responses still strong? Could you ask you GP for an HCG blood test? I would probably be a bit more forceful with the clinic and tell them it’s really worrying you as you don’t know what’s going on. Either that or it’s wait it out I’m afraid 😟 something I’ve never been good at! Wishing you all the luck in the world 🤗💐💜 xxx
I've done a first response this morning u can still see the line but looking at all my test not all the lines are strong have u seen the photo I've but up there all my test from last week and the bottom test is this morning I'm still cramping at the mo as well x
yeah the last one is slightly lighter but defo still a strong line there... it’s so hard to tell what’s going on. I had a cramping with both my chemical pregnancy and the one that stuck so that’s not even always reliable indicator. You might need to just keep testing and waiting I’m afraid lovely. I would say give it a few days but I know I tested every day as I couldn’t help it. I would stick to the same brand if you’re going to compare though xxx
Thank u so much for the advice my hubby has hidden the other test so I'm going to leave it and hope for the best I've still had no bleeding at all and just pray that they see something on my scan xx
What order did you do those tests in and when? The clearblue ones aren’t accurate by any means but like Ivfgotadream they have also been the first indicator something was wrong for me.. BUT when I googled at the time there were as many good news stories as bad news stories so it could have just been a late implanter
My recommendation would be wait a week (hard I know) and maybe test again. My clinic don’t do bloods so it’s often a waiting game. It’s unlikely to change over night as HCG can take 48 to 72 hrs to double so I would wait until maybe Saturday and test again.
Fwiw cyclogest has never stopped me miscarrying. Good luck you are still in the game xx
Hey Jen, you need to do an HCG blood test to find out, pee sticks are not reliable enough. If your clinic or GP don’t want to do a blood test, look for a private clinic or blood tests clinic and you can go and do it there, no referrral needed and you can do one and then another one after 72 hours and it will give you an indication of the HCG rising or not.
It’s such a difficult one. I was told not to use the date indicating tests at all because they are just not as accurate as the basic ones.
I had 2 positive tests on my OTD and then about 3-4 days later started with some brownish discharge when wiping. I rang our specialist and asked her about it and if I should test again to check everything was ok and she said no because it could be unclear. She said even if miscarrying or bio-chemical the hcg levels can stay high for a while and therefore testing might not be accurate. She told me to just relax, reat and sit it out... we are now 8 weeks pregnant and I also have 5 days 2 embryo transfer. I know the waiting is just the hardest thing ever but if you can then your body will be your indicator. How have your other symptoms been? Good luck!x
Hi Jenclarke, yes sadly for me it's been a sign things weren't going well. I would definitely wait a week if you can and see where you are then. They can be wrong and maybe a late bloomer.....having had similar experiences with my two losses, this time I was anxious to see the change, I am now 14 weeks and the clear blue was pretty spot on for me this time round...keeping everything crossed for you...it's the no of weeks since conception so not since your last period so can take time to change ❤
My trans was the 25th October test day was the 7th November clearblue test was 1-2 weeks did it again 8days later the clearblue still says 1-2 weeks that I've noticed all my test are not that strong only symptoms I'm getting is cramping like I'm ready to have a period my period should of been last week I've still had no bleeding yet I just don't what to think I've never been pregnant before xx
