Bleeding after Day 10 embryo transfer...stringy

Hi Everyone! I had my transfer of embryo 10 days ago and started to bleed heavily this morning with what can only be described as 'stringy' and 'jelly' like!!. I have had to change my pad earlier due to the amount of blood and take some pain relief due to the cramps. Is it just the Implantation? I am due my test on Wednesday 18th Any thoughts or experiences most welcome!

Firstly I want to say some women bleed (some heavily) and go on to have healthy pregnancies - many have done so on this forum.

Unfortunately this wasn’t my experience. I started spotting around day 5/6 and then on day 10 I had a proper bleed.. today was my OTD and got a BFN. This wasn’t a surprise, as as I say I have been bleeding heavily for the past few days.

I started preparing (after a lot of tears) for a negative outcome a couple days ago, I think that’s why I’m kind of ok today - I even managed a boozy lunch! 😄 🥂

Hope you don’t find this too upsetting as it doesn’t mean that you won’t be successful - we’re all different! I have my fingers crossed for you. Xx

Thanks for your message! I am hoping for the best and preparing for the worst! I am lucky as I have another 2 frozen, I know that others are not as lucky!

Its my husband's 40th today so my plan is to eat some good food and relax and come Wednesday will know more!

Yeah I’m in that boat so have to contend with starting again. Ugh.

I genuinely think that’s the best approach - just don’t lose hope. Sounds like you have a lovely weekend planned (happy birthday to your hubby!) which is exactly the kind of distraction you need! Xx

Hi, I keep 🤞 for all of us. Yesterday was my day 10 and even I have been spotting with pain which has increased today. Lets hope all good for us

Last night it went to a more brownish colour but back to red and heavy this morning. It is sore putting in the vaginal cream this morning. Hope you are doing okay and keep me posted of your test, keeping everything crossed and wishing you loads of luck! X

Hi, just got my test done. They will let me know in couple of hours. But I am not much hopeful as flow has increased. My concern is that now I am left with only one embryo, last time I had 8 weeks misscarriage 😒

I hope you get good news, I find the waiting the worst! I am tempted to go and get a test early but I know I should wait. I sometimes think it would be easier to know and start to move on. I have had bad constipation, this is my first time but will keep my chin up! Hope the hours pass quickly and you keep yourself busy xxx
