We have transfer today into our surrogate... I was shocked yesterday when the embryologist called to book our time, to hear that it’s a 3BB and not a 4BB as I had thought. It’s a day 5 blast.
Just hoping someone can tell me something positive about their 3BB! Xx

Our 4AA embryo failed to implant, our 4AB ended in a MMC at 9 weeks and our ‘worst’ quality 3BC (5 day blast) which is a slightly lower grade than yours, is now our little boy. It’s so hard not to think about grades but i always say if the embryo is good enough to freeze then it’s good enough to become your miracle 🤞🏼 x
Totally agree with you, good enough to freeze, always a chance! I am transferring either a 3BC or 3bb in january hopefully, can i ask with your little boy did they assist hatch before transfer with being a 3 expansion, i wasn't sure what to do? x
Hey. They didn’t assist hatch, no. When they defrosted the embryo (Louie!) it compacted and started to expand nicely so I’m assuming there was no need to. Wishing you every success with your next transfer xx
I’m having a boy and a girl - the doctors suspect the girl is the day 6 bb embryo as some studies indicate that girl embryos can be slower than boy ones and she has been smaller/slower than her brother the whole pregnancy
We have a scan soon so I'll let you know. This is our second IVF baby. Our first was top quality and was a girl so I doubt embryo quality has anything to do with gender. Thank you ☺️ yes merry Christmas to you too xx
I have just had a frozen 4bb transferred and currently in my 2ww.
I also have a day 6 frozen which is graded 3bb.
(Both are classed as good quality)
I wouldn't look to much at the grade.. have seen some people with 5/6aa blastocysts transfers and had a negative test and had positives with their lower grade
Thank you all, this is all what i needed to hear! We had a really blip at the clinic where my 100% perfectly thawed embie almost had to be refrozen and abandoned (honestly why does it always happen to me!) because the clinic were saying some important forms were missing for the surrogacy that her husband needed to complete and there was no way he could travel to us. But after consulting with the hfea disaster was averted.
One very pretty embryo transferred ❤️ and so begins the 2ww 🤞🏼🍀
Congratz to all women who got pregnant here❤️❤️❤️I'm on my 7th day post 5dayFET with my 3BB little embie, all messages here give me hope and positive vibes💕💕Thank you all for sharing your experience☺️
