Metformin

I had metformin due to PCOS.

It is prescribed until positive pregnancy but I took it for bit long and now my daughter is 8 months young

Hi dear, I was prescribed the same in the last letter from my doctor (Metformin, 1g twice daily in gradually escalating doses) for my 2nd cycle due to the fact I had a moderate to severe OHSS on my first cycle so went through difficult times. However I didn't have the introduction with the nurse yet, it's planned for 2nd of March, that's why I didn't have the chance to ask questions yet.

Doctor is saying that Metformin improves PCOS so less risk to develop OHSS during the protocol, but there're plenty of side effects from what I read on the internet and I'm a little bit nervous. Did you experience any side effects? and did you see any improvement during ovaries stimulation? or you didn't experience OHSS on your first cycle?
