First injection done - slight panic!

So I did my first buserelin injection this morning, which initially was fine, but after a few minutes I noticed a big red patch and bumpy rash which I hadn't been expecting! Queue slight panic and a call to the clinic to check 🙈 it's gone down now but I think I was so focused on the actual injection I didn't think about what might happen afterwards! Fingers crossed it doesn't happen again tomorrow 🤞 xx

I got this with my injections too, although I worked out it was the alcohol wipe and not the injection. It went down after a couple of hours x

Super exciting! Hopefully it goes better tomorrow. My body seemed to get used to all the injections after the first few times xx

I started buserelin a few weeks ago and I still get the odd rash now so I don’t think it’s anything to worry about. I remember having a really big bump one night but by the morning they should be gone. Good luck with your journey 🤞🏻🥰

Congratulations! You’ve started your injections. The rash will slowly settle down. You’ll get used to taking these injections and before you know, it’ll be egg collection and transfer day 😊 time flies!
