Hi. Hope ur all well. Il tell you a little about my story...

Im 29 years old. 4 miscarriages later decided to give ivf a go.

Iv had my egg retrieval done at Manchester St Marys Hospital (06.10.20) and got 11eggs. They’ve been frozen due to risk of OHSS so awaiting my appointment with embryologist to see next steps for FET, which will be couple months away. First time joining any type of group so nervous 🤭

Thank you all for messaging back. Honestly really appreciate it. This is my first ever conversation with anyone about ivf besides my hubby.

Iv been seen by the ‘recurrent miscarriage unit’ and all test results came back as ‘normal’. Bittersweet as im grateful nothing is wrong. However no magic tablet to make things better and for pregnancy to turn into a baby.

Have any of you been through FET? im very sad I couldn’t do embryo transfer after egg retrieval. Im just mentally in a good place right now and dont know how i will be in few months.

Also its day 5 after retrieval (still on cetrotide for another 3days as i was told to take for 7days post retrieval ) however iv started to bleed like my period has started. Is this normal so early on? I thought it takes 7-10days for periods to start. Or even longer?
