Antidepressants and ivf

Has anyone taken antidepressants or betablockers while having ivf?

I've been having ivf for the last four years without success and have a lot going on in my personal life too as my mum has Altzeimers disease.

I have struggled with anxiety for years and I am feeling really low at present but have always been reluctant to turn to antidepressants etc in case it impacts on my ivf.

Just wondering if anyone has been in the same situation themselves?

I am on a small dose of beater blockers and this never had any impact on my ivf or my pregnancy. I am currently 20 weeks pregnant with my little miracle. I would say do what you need to do to get your body most relaxed and do what you feel most comfortable with. I am going to private therapy now which is helping with the obstacles I’ve had over the years. Good luck xxxx
