Low AMH cycle update: Started stims today 🥳

Hello ladies. As promised an update from me and a bit of information sharing. So Iv officially started round 3 of IVF/ICSI today. My first scan is booked for Thursday 8th.

Since my BFN from cycle 2 Iv had one cycle of 23 days and this one just gone was 28 days. I wondered how my natural cycle was going to be affected as so many people experience lengthened cycles but I have not.

Iv just had my iron level test back and it’s now well within a healthy range. During last round I was almost anaemic. Let’s hope this helps 🤞🏻

This is my first round where I have not taken BCP first. It’s so good to start injections not feeling like a hormonal wreck 👍🏻

So let the rollacoaster ride begin. Good luck to everyone out there going through this at the moment. Let’s hope this is our time 🤞🏻

Hey country mouse. Thank you for sharing your journey. I am in a similar situation to you. I start stims tonight on short protocol. AMH when last tested in October 2019 was 2.4. I had a failed cycle in august which was long protocol. Managed to get 4 eggs, 2 mature, one fertilised but abnormally so nothing to transfer. Hoping for more luck this cycle, if not then we will be moving onto egg donor.

I’m back on 150 this time because using 350 was a disaster.

My AMH was 2.3 in February 2019 so very similar to you! You are 6 years younger than me so you have such a good chance of it working.

Thank you 🙏🏻 I hope it does the trick for you! I was on 300iu Menopur last time. Now I’m on 225 Gonal F and 150 Menopur. The only thing not in my favour is my severe endo and endometriomas and previous surgery on my ovary which may have affect all my egg quality! We shall see.
