Covid 😭 still waiting for appointment

Hi folks, it's a long time since i last posted. I was wondering is there many ppl still waiting for an appointment since clinics have re opened. I am in Northern Ireland and we have been told it cud b next year before they get through waiting list do try our last wee frozen embryo, this is private btw at an NHS clinic and iv been on list since May. I'm just reading so many people on here who's treatments are full flow (which is great by the way?). My babies are only 9 and half months so it's probably a blessing in disguise that our treatment is delayed but annoying none the less.

Congrats on your 9 month olds!

I’m not in the same situation but I could have been as I was private with my embryos in an NHS hospital. So I arranged for the embryos to be moved to a fully private clinic. I did all the admin during lockdown and so they were moved as soon as the clinics could re-open in May. Then I restarted my journey straight away.

Not sure if that’s an option for you but thought I’d let you know. We used a really good embryo courier service. So PM me if you need any further details.

Thank u so much for the reply I really appreciate it. my consultant in the NHS hospital also works in the only private hosp there is in the North of Ireland, he said I will b no quicker transferring as there is a big list there also. Don't get me wrong I am forever grateful for our twins but I feel time is ticking for me and I want to give our last wee embie a fighting chance aswell.
