Pregnancy symptoms disappearing?

fertilitystruggle profile image

Hi everyone.

Today I am exactly 10 weeks pregnant

For the past two weeks I have had severe morning sickness and nausea through out the whole day.

My boobs have been extremely sore but today it all seems to have changed.

I woke up today, no nausea at all, no sickness today and my chest is not hurting me as much as usual and it seems to have gone a little down in size.

I haven’t had any bleeding nor any cramping.

But I am just so worried. I feel like maybe something has gone wrong.

Please advice..

Hello - I am nearly ten weeks and have been reading that the placenta develops around this time taking some of the stress off our hormones to support the embryo and therefore you should feel an easing in symptoms. Not sure if relevant but can pm you some links if it will help ease your mind? X

Hi Infertilemyrtle,

I really hope this is the case with me.

I am just so afraid. I’m thinking of booking a private scan for tomorrow.

As I am not bleeding or have any cramps they will not provide me with a scan unless I go private which I don’t mind.

For my own peace of mind I rather do this.

And yes please do send them it will put me at ease 💛 x

Hiya,

I should be 13 weeks today and I haven’t had many symptoms since the start of my pregnancy to be honest. I’ve had random symptoms like minor cramps on and off breast tenderness. Trust me it’s so worrying you have symptoms it’s worrying and you don’t and it feels like your baby is not there.

I know I don’t sound reassuring because I feel that same but i thought it would be reassuring for you to know I feel the same way and I’m hoping to see my baby next week. For your piece of mind had a private scan.

All the best xx

Hi Pa86,

Having or not having symptoms both way it’s a crazy worrying life. We think it’s just getting pregnant is the worrying part. But after that it doesn’t get any easier. It’s a constant worrying life.

I had a private scan and thank god everything seemed fine.

Maybe it is the placenta that has made the morning sickness a lot better🤞🏼.

Thank you for your message 💛x

Hi fertilitystruggle,

This is totally normal. As someone else said, the placenta is starting to take over now so it does start to help with the symptoms. I would have a few days where they would ease off and then they’d come back with a vengeance 🥴

If it helps though, definitely go for a private scan. I had one around 10 weeks and it was really reassuring xx

Hi Kiboxx,

It was definitely the placenta which helped and I felt so much better today.

Funny enough after the private emergency scan I had I started feeling nauseous again.

But the scan was a big reassurance.

How have you been x💛

Don’t worry you’ll notice that symptoms start coming and going and even disappearing now your getting further along. After about 12 weeks my boobs stopped hurting and I wasn’t feeling sick anymore or having headaches. I felt back to normal just aches and pains then start to happen as you get bigger 😂🥰

Hi there, I know your post was a few months ago, but a member asked me to search ‘disappearing symptoms’ following my post this morn and yours came up.Was everything ok? I woke yesterday to no symptoms at all, no bloating no sore boobs, earliest I can get a scan is thur AM. Not sure I can do 3 nights with no sleep 😔 xx

Hi Bella4040,

I’m so sorry I just saw your message now.

My symptoms did disappear, immediately I was stressing, crying and panicking.

After 3-4 days my symptoms all came back and it was worse then ever! I was vomiting, severe nausea, couldn’t keep a single thing down and was very very unwell. Funny enough I suffered extreme vomiting and was diagnosed with hyperamesis gravidarum.

I would say don’t stress too much as these things are normal and it happens. Of course at that moment we all think of the worse especially due to how much struggle we all have gone through.

Try and relax and just take each day as it comes. ❤️

Thank you, as it happens I managed to get a scan and all was fine. Then sure enough yesterday some slight symptoms came back, just sore boobs and a tiny bit of bloating but I’ll take that as I’ve had no sickness as yet 🤞🏻Xx

Honestly my sore boobs symptoms went after very fast and till now they haven’t come back and I am now 6 months. I would say don’t examine every small thing too much like I did. Good luck ❤️
