Is there anyone out there with a partner with poor sperm motility and conceived naturally? My partner's is 7% motility. I'm just wondering what my chances are, there's not much info online about statistics.
Thanks xx

It's not impossible! And there is room for improvement. My husband also has low motility. The first time he did an analysis 2 years ago, his total motility was 7%, and we did one 4 months ago, and it was up to 15%. Of course, test results can vary, but I see this as hope that we could some day conceive naturally. It's just one that has to swim up to the egg, right?! When we consulted with a doctor a few months back, he said that there definitely is a possibility and we just need to keep trying. We are still considering IVF in the near future, but I'm hopeful for a natural pregnancy!
He's been taking supplements - a multivitamin with zinc, selenium, vitamin C, along with a CoQ10 and L-Carnatine supplement. And I've added lot more veg, fruit and fish to our diet. Might try some acupuncture here soon too. Going in for another analysis in a few weeks - fingers crossed for even more improvement!!
Best of luck to you and your husband.
