Have you ever had the feeling that you won the lottery?! I have now that feeling πππ€£π€£
We had 11 eggs retrieved, 7 were mature and 6 fertilised. On day 2 they told us that 3 are looking good with no fragmentation and the other 3 embryos have more cells than they should have for day 2. On day 3 we had a very nice surprise all 6 embryos were still developing and 5 of them looked good with no fragmentation. So from those 3 which werenβt looking that good on day 2, two of them managed to recover somehow and developed into nice little embryos for that stage. On day 5/6 we had 4 embryos that reached blastocyst and were biopsied and cryopreserved π₯³ πππ πβ€οΈ
We never had more than 1 embryo per cycle. This is the best ever result π₯°β€οΈ
The quality of our embryos are: 5ab, 5bb, 4bb, 5bc (from this cycle) and 5aa (from our previous cycle). We had now another waiting game - PGS testing of 5 beautiful embryos π€π¬π€― that will be ready in next 20 days.
I know exactly what I did differently this cycle: 1. I was stressed like anything that my husband had Covid πππ 2. I shared my cycle with all of you (thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the support) 3. I added DHEA and Ovusitol in the mix π€ (and I have a beautiful black moustache nowπ₯΄ππ)
Ps: the embryologist used my husband fresh sperm to inject the embryos and he was still recovering from COVID π€π€·ββοΈ
His sense of smell is still not back after one month since he tested positive...
So apparently stress and COVID are not having a bad effect on fertility πππ€£π€£ just joking
Have a lovely evening all β€οΈππ€π€
