Clomid online?

Has anyone bought clomid online? I’m currently waiting on IVF from the NHS but it’s now a long way off. I want to try something while waiting. I’m currently in Ireland and it’s proving very difficult and expensive to get clomid. Looking into buying it online. But scared that it’s not safe.

Any advice would be appreciated xx

Hi Joy,

Do you have a prescription for it? If not anything you buy online is likely to be fake.

Usually you would need to be monitored for at least your first cycle with scans and blood tests x

I don’t have a prescription. It’s going to take months to get a prescription as they want to do all the tests all over again! I’m just so tired of waiting. Three years and we haven’t had any help. Just sat on the NHS waiting list! I read about people trying all these drugs and I want to try something. Xx

I completely get it, we waited years before making it to our first transfer too and it’s beyond frustrating.

I’d just hate for you to be at best wasting your money on something that wasn’t really clomid or at worst putting yourself at risk taking it.

I have to admit I’m also slightly biased 🙈 I had a really bad reaction to it and ended up seeing a neurologist. It was a rare side effect but it is a serious drug and would have been even more scary if I hadn’t had monitoring and support from my doctors xx

I think I’m being silly at dramatic. I’m just looking for a quick fix as I’m having a bad month. I think I’m going to book in and pay for the first round of tests.

Unexplained is so difficult for me. I’d love some answers.
