So, after violently throwing up after having a few (quite a few) rums on Friday night and thinking ‘this is not normal! A) I never throw up and B) we didn’t drink THAT much, I decided to take a test, just to rule out being pregnant.... 3 Positive results later we accepted that we are indeed pregnant 💕
I don’t know why or how, we eat well, exercise & I’ve been taking a truck load of supplements recommended by my Greek fertility consultant the last couple of months (happy to share the list if people would like) but we’ve been drinking quite a lot (c.3 bottles of wine a week each), so we’ve not been the healthiest. We’ve just been hunkering down aware that it could be months before we’re able to fly to Greece for our next round.
I’m acutely aware that most of us have & many continue to be struggling during lockdown not knowing when treatments will start back up so I’m so sorry if this isn’t what you want to see today. But for those that find good news on here helpful I thought I’d share.
This is our fourth pregnancy so we are extremely aware that we have a very long road ahead and things can change one day to the next. Anxiety is already sky high (how long before I miscarry this time...? 🤷♀️) and the hope is lower than the previous three pregnancies. BUT, we are pregnant and very aware of how lucky we are to be at this stage, when I know so many would give their right arm to get a BFP right now.
Hopefully, hopefully this time we’ll have a happy ending. Cant picture it yet... but maybe, if we’re lucky, it will come.
Wishing all you wonderful warriors lots of love xxx

Congratulations Jo!! Such wonderful news I really wish you all the best, stay off the rum and relax I would love to know which supplements you took if you dont mind sharing xx
I'm well thank you. If you dont mind can you please pm the details of the vitamins too as my consultant had told me to take vitamin D and ubiquinol after my miscarriage. Even though I have started taking a number of other vitamins as I feel like my egg quality isn't good xx
Congratulations is this a natural pregnancy? If so that’s amazing 😘 and would love to know what vitamins etc you would suggest. Am about to have my last ever attempt for a sibling for my son. My clinic will not support my used of anything except folic acid & vitamin d. They claim no supplements will help egg quality
