Clinic called: my second beta is fine, HCG had a 60% rise which they said are happy with. This makes me happy.
However, my progesterone is still low, itβs 50- they like it to be at least 80. Will be starting Prontogest injections tonight, do you have any experience with it?
Iβve asked the nurse whether Iβm at risk of miscarriage due to the progesterone being so low, she didnβt really answer but said βinjections will fix it!β- so I canβt totally relax π
Will do another blood test on Friday to check ...

My clinic has never even tested my progesterone levels! I can imagine lots of people go on to have healthy pregnancies with low progesterone and just don't know it! But at least they are checking yours and doing something about it so that you have the best chance. xxx
Thank you Emmie, are you with a private clinic or NHS? Mine is private and I must say itβs really an amazing clinic I would recommend to everybody! Xx
Private. It's an hour and a half drive's away from our house! Chose it because of their success rates and history and reputation! Stuck with them now on this 2 year unlimited thingy. Can't really complain about them so far, though.
Yeah not round the corner- mine is so it the same time just by tube. Itβs strange that being private they donβt check your progesterone level, have you aver asked? Surely even if itβs a package you should be able to do add-ons? X
Hey pudding! Itβs not really an offer, I pay for each one ahahah itβs good that they are thorough yes, but I did ask them to check for peace of mind (and was I right!) Iβm feeling good overall, a bit tired and have nausea some time but thatβs pretty much all....how are you? Xx
Good thing your Clinic is checking, mine isnt checking at all.. although it's there protocol to continue with cyclogest 2 times daily till 12weeks. I am also on metformin (first time I am using it, Dr says it will help because of my miscarriage history) to keep my hormones in check till 12weeks.
I am wondering if I should request for the test or just let it be.
No cause for you to worry at all, you got all your bases covered. Baby dust to us both πππππ

Iβm a bit of an anxious patient so prefer to have everything covered and Iβve asked them to check. And Iβm glad I did- even if that means Iβll be starting injections tonight! Xxx yes fingers crossed weβll be fine π€π»π€π»π€π»π€π»πππππβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
