I only had 1 frozen, but it survived the thaw. Rates for thawing are really good these days; we were told.

Was it top grade? Was it a success for you xxx

It was a 4BB, I think, or maybe a 3BB. Not top grade? It wasn't a success, unfortunately. Don't know why.

I only have one frozen and will find out on Monday if it has survived the thaw ..... so I’m with ya on the ‘will it?’ Question. My dr said if it is a good quality embryo it should. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 I’m just choosing to be hopeful because either way I prefer feeling positive 🤷🏼‍♀️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻💐 when are you doing FET?

Total nightmare of a process! Ya wouldn’t wish it on your worst enemy ! Every stage brings its own worry. Try to find some things that help you unwind. The CALM journal by fearne cotton it good for noting and focusing plus have you tried the Mindful IVF app? I also recommend making a positive play list and going for a one hour walk in the fresh air!

The way I see it is , I’m on this ivf train whether I like it or not so I’ll decide how I feel whilst I journey 😎 staying calm takes work!

Maybe also take some time off work ? I’m off at mo and it’s amazing I just being able to focus on breathing etc without having to rush and stress at work in middle of it all!!!! Do what you want to do 😘 nobody at work cares about your journey as much as you do so cut yourself some slack 💐

Wow such a positive response! I need you in my life everyday 🤣 it’s true, I’d never wish it upon anyone! Absolute struggle 😭 but we’re strong and hopefully we can get a positive outcome.

I’m actually a post woman so I love walking! It’s just the mental side. Keep me updated on your progress x

Yes ours have all survived (4 in total, varying grades). Freeze/thaw rates are much better than they used to be, my clinic said they would expect 95% to make it x

Our clinic said the same! It’s really rare nowadays for it not to thaw x

Oh I’m with you on this this!! I haven’t made it to my FET yet, but I know that once I get a transfer date booked in the thought of the thawing process will terrify me xx

I only had two. One thawed... one did not....

Was it a successful transfer x

Unfortunately no as I had an allergic reaction to the drugs for transfer and nearly died. So the body choose for me to live rather than keep an embryo. Hence why I question every drug they put me on. Progesterone may be naturally occurring, but a synthetic progesterone must be made with someone that didn’t agree with me. I’m apparently abnormal?? However every appointment I have to fight not to be put back on it. It’s apparently just the norm here, without even testing to see if your levels are low. Quote from my doctor “it’s just a precautionary top up”.... my levels were fine ... so I’m kinda on the road for ladies to question everything.

Wow that’s awful for you, I’m glad your okay now. Yes you know your body and what’s right for you! Maybe you should do an allergy test?

All of our embryos have survived so far. We have defrosted 9 so far....some were 2 at a time but all were good afterwards. The embryologists only freeze ones they think are good enough to defrost, that said its not always 100% thaw ok. Its a nerve racking experience but the stats are on your side.xx

I had two frozen embryos all together. One was transferred in August and one today and they both survived the thaw! Survival rates are about 95% I think xxx

I’ve had 5 and all have survived the thaw, apparently they need to have 50% survival and mine have ranged from 85-95%. I was told thawing rates are 90% successful xx
