BFN...still no period 😣

Heartbroken, why did i even think it was possible.

Just took the test, not first thing in the morning as I couldn’t wait. But it’s quite obviously a BFN.

No idea what is going on.

Feeling annoyed that i even allowed myself to dream!

Sometimes periods are just delayed for no reason. Don’t worry that something is wrong - it could be stress.. just give it a couple more days xxx

Well I wouldn’t even have a coffee this morning incase i was pregnant 🤣 so I’ve just had a coffee and a sit down, might as well get back to the gym and just wait for my Laprascopy 🙇🏼‍♀️xx

I haven’t had any hormones though, absolutely nothing. Just waiting for a Laparoscopy, as it had to be delayed because i broke my foot 🙃

I keep thinking il be having early menopause now ive been told my egg reserve is so low 🤦🏼‍♀️

Hi. Oh dear! Sorry to hear about the foot and hope it is on the mend. Periods can get a bit haphazard from time to time as we get a little older. However, just remember that we can control a lot as you go through treatment, so fingers crossed. Diane

Hey lovely I’m sorry you got a bfn never nice to see when ttc 😢 I would re test in a few days time with first urine of the day ( it’s so important to be first urine as even if you are pregnant it might not show up in the early days of pregnancy) It ain’t over until period comes. xxx

Oh thanks for your reply! It feels over atm, but I definitely don’t feel like a period is coming anymore, very unusual. And I can’t stop going to the toilet and checking 😩

Im going to test again Wednesday if there is still no period, i have an xray due on my foot Friday, so I really need to know either way xx

Urgh it’s awful I feel for you. It was the time I struggled with the most when TTC. I didn’t have any symptoms in early pregnancy ( any I had could’ve been period) I didn’t feel pregnant or periody if that makes sense?! That BFP is now a 6 month old baby! It would still be very early days ( I can understand the whole self preservation) it’s good you have other options available to focus on ( hopefully you won’t need em!) I will cross everything for you xxx

How long until you got your BFP? I am really hoping i get one on Wednesday as i had about 12 toilet trips before i even went to buy the test today 🤦🏼‍♀️ but there isn’t even a slight line. Going off my usual dates im sure it should have come last Wednesday, what a nightmare. Xx

I was 16 days post ovulation & I was only 1 day late! My periods were like clockwork the only times I’ve skipped periods is due to pregnancies.My hubby was very inpatient & had to know! It was done with first urine & no drink before testing ( these things can affect results when you are only 4 weeks pregnant) I was convinced it would be a bfn because I didn’t feel different. If testing at 4 weeks use a sensitive test as some require higher levels of HCG to detect a pregnancy- first response are good & I used clearblue conception pregnancy tests. If your periods are normally regular then you can be hopeful good luck xxx

My periods are usually bang on, so fingers crossed. I used a clear blue, maybe I’ll try a first response on Wednesday as that should be a full week since expected period. Im sure that would detect it then if i am 🤦🏼‍♀️

Just dont want to be having xrays and the it turns out i am pregnant. Xx

The tests can’t be reliable if it wasn’t first urine so fingers crossed your period is missing due a pregnancy 🤞🏻If you are in any doubt postpone your X-ray xxx

You have had far more patience than I did 🤣! I used clearblue conception pregnancy test. Some ladies think first response is more sensitive. Good luck xxx

Definitely retest on Wednesday. I was a few days late before and test was negative. I retested 5 days later and it was positive.

Yes use FRER.

Hi lovely, i know just how you feel. Could you have a cyst? My period is late, ive had all the pregnancy symptoms then this morning find out its just a bloody cyst! They said it messes your cycle up though should just go away with my period when it actually comes fingers crossed. Dont fell stupid we all do it and one day it will actually be right xx

I have no idea tbh, how did you find out? Im awaiting a laparoscopy to diagnose endo atm...but never had this before, im usually regular xx

Ive had all that i have endo too which also messes up your cycle and gives you pregnancy symptoms, i feel preg every month and its coz of endo tho this month was extreme cuz of this cyst. We are now starting the ivf route and i had a scan at the clinic today thats how i know. You can ask for one at the drs if you have enough reason too as they scanned me many times before endo was confirmed. And my cyst is nothing to do with my endo just a normal cyst and first one ive had xx

Im not sure if i have it yet, i had e HsG and one of my tubes was blocked, and i suffer from ibs/fatigue/mood so maybe i have. Off to the Drs this week to make sure its not an ectopic and just not showing xx

Oh I’ve done that twice when my period was 5 days late each time. Totally got my hopes up and then did a test for it to be stark white negative. Then my period arrived the next day. I’ve no idea what went on those 2 months 🤷‍♀️ but it was so disappointing each time. Hope whatever it is resolves itself and you can go with it xx

Hi hon! How are you now? Got the period? I am really sorry for what you are going through. This journey is not an easy one. It takes a lot of strength and patience. Don't worry, sometimes periods take time for no reason at all. So don't think that something is wrong. But if it's still not getting better then visit a doctor. In my opinion, it's always better to visit a doctor for any kind of problem because then you don't sit back at home and overthink about it. I hope everything is good for you. I will pray for you.
