hi does anyone know anything about OHSS what it is what the symptoms are and anyone had any experiences with it?? I’m in so so much pain after egg collection

Yes I had it in May and had to stop treatment after egg collection. I was so bloated and couldn't get comfortable sitting or sleeping. I couldnt breathe properly and everything was an effort. I was basically full of fluid. Even carrying things or climbing the stairs took it out of me. Drink plenty and eat loads of protein to reduce it x

I had mild OHSS and they stopped my treatment for 2 months after egg collection.

They collected 25 eggs from my ovaries so in the run up to egg cell I was extremely bloated, really uncomfortable and struggled to do the most easiest tasks. After egg collection I was put on blood thinner injections for 14 days which really helped and by then my body felt like it was back to normal
