Heading off to (my first) egg collection this morning. Feeling strangely excited / nervous... it’s all been leading up to this point. Just hope we get a decent amount of eggs. I had 14 follicles over 10mm on Wednesday (most around 18/17/16/15) and a whole bunch of smaller ones, so not really sure what number to expect, but I hear it’s a numbers game from here on in.
I’ve not felt unwell in the down reg or stim drugs so hoping the op is similar.

Thanks everyone. They got 15 eggs which I’m pretty pleased with. Tomorrow they will phone to tell us how many fertilised, and to confirm the date for transfer. I’m surprised they are deciding when to transfer so early. I thought they would look each day and call us with an update of how many had made it to the next stage, but our call tomorrow is the only one, unless something changes.
Is that the same anywhere else?
