Progress

Finally i have some progress with getting referred to a specialist for more tests. My Dr was been very coy about it and just saying don’t panic etc even when I explained that i have never even been pregnant once, and never used any contraception. My OH is in for his test soon, even though he has 2 kids from a previous relationship. Then i should be clear to move on to the next step, does anyone know what this will be? Thanks xx

Hi HOpe. I suppose it all depends upon what tests/investigations you have had done already. You will have repeat blood hormones done and possibly a scan of your ovaries and a check for your Fallopian tubes, usually called an HSG. A hysteroscopy is sometimes needed. This is a look into your womb with a camera to see whether there are any defects. A biopsy of the lining would be taken too.d epending upon what is found, as to whether you just need some medication or more in depth treatment such as IVF. If that is the case, you will have to pay for the treatment as you have two children within your relationship, even though they are not yours. Hope all goes well and nothing too complicated is found, that can easily e put right. Diane
