Hi Guys
first time I've seen hubbies sperm results.. how do they seem~???
I think the motility and morphology are below optimal. They say more than 4% for morphology and I think 32% for motility but I may be wrong on this. I think the count is good.
Hope that helps.
Hi, I can’t remember what my hubbie’s actual result was but I do remember there was an issue with morphology. You need to speak to consultant and they will best advice next steps onwards. We are still classed as unexplained infertility as even though his morphology didn’t make average, everything else was above average.
We tried normal IVF first and hubbies sperm didn’t fertilise any of our eggs.
We then moved on to ICSI.
Good luck xx
Well this was from two years ago, they never said anything like
It being a problem x
The sperm test was from 2 years ago? My husband was told to take vitamin e 400mg (D.Alpha Form) every day to improve quality. My husband and I clearly have other issues though as we’ve yet to have a baby xx
Yeh basically we were told all was fine, I’ve moved gp and now have access to all record so have actually seen the details x
If the results were 2 years ago and you haven’t got pregnant yet I would get yourself referred by your GP to your nearest fertility clinic xxx
I tried with my ex 9 years ago and never got pregnant my husband has a daughter and my ex has now got someone pregnant x
The numbers are slightly below the optimal ranges, and so ICSI might give you better fertilisation than IVF, as the embryologist can select the best sperm rather than leaving to chance.
