Lining too thick on buserelin

Currently taking buserelin for 3 weeks and had my baseline scan. I was told my uterine lining had not all shed yet and it was too thick - but I’ve stopped bleeding? I’ve been told to come back a week later as the uterine lining may absorb itself - has anyone had this before? Help would be much appreciated!

Yes I had this and I’m sorry to say my cycle eventually got cancelled, I was left on the buserelin and spotted a further 2 times but my lining never got thinner than 7.2mm. I stopped and restarted the following month and it was fine this time, I did have acupuncture to help ensure it didn’t happen again. Nobody knows why it happened but I’m told it doesn’t happen often. This happened to me on when I was sniffing suprecur. My lining was too thick... apparently my body didn't absorb the drug well enough. I had to wait for about 2 cycles before they started me on the Suprecur injections and thats worked well. I hope everything works out & this is just a small bump on your journey xxx

This happened to me but they doubled my dose of buserelin for a week (not fun) and the lining had reabsorbed by the scan the next week. Good luck!

Thanks ladies! I guess I should consider this cycle being cancelled if my lining doesn’t absorb itself! It’s so hard being so close to transfer - they even gave me a transfer date! My dose of buserelin hasn’t been increased, I’m just on it for an extra week... we will see what Mondays scan reveals - just have to trust your body and trust in the process.
