The first opportunity I have a busy (with fun stuff every evening) fortnight in the 2ww period when I’ll be quite active for evenings but mostly can rest in the days. The other choice is to wait a month and have it when I’ll be at work in the days but can chill in the evenings with no plans.
Any thoughts on how tired/active ppl were in days/evenings on 2ww. Or whether it’s better to be busy but nice stuff or have a clear diary....!?
Definitely keep busy! Your mind will be racing with all sorts. I found it helpful going back to work this time and arranging nice things with friends and family on some of the evening's and weekends. It makes the time go much quicker, and when you're pretty much clock watching for 2 weeks anything to keep yourself busy will help. You need a balance of course and not do too much, but they and surround yourself with those people who are positive and you enjoy being around. Good luck xx
With mine I worked the first week and took the next 2 off. I wanted some time to process the results (good or bad) hence choosing that timing rather than the whole 2ww.
Next time I will do it differently and keep busy! I found being alone for so long drove me a bit mad. There were days that I googled symptoms the entire day and tested every single wee I did 🤦♀️
I’d say keep busy (within reason), try to plan some nice things like hanging out with friends, going for relaxing walks etc. My doctor is adamant that staying active is preferable as it keeps the blood flowing too.
Hi I was wondering the same.i took first few days off work, was trying to listen to my body and rest, then went back to work but tried to be mindful but felt I did over do things a bit. This time trying to work out dates based on stuff I have on. All I would say is be guided by your body. I enjoyed just being at home and relaxing.
